Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website at insulationmissoula.com or by engaging Missoula Insulation for services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or request services from us. These terms apply to all visitors, estimate requestors, and customers.

Description of Services

Missoula Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation installation, removal, and assessment services in western MT. Services include but are not limited to spray foam insulation, blown-in insulation, batt insulation, air sealing, and related work.

All services are subject to the availability of our crew, access to your property, and the scope agreed upon in a written estimate. We reserve the right to decline a project if site conditions make safe or quality work impossible.

Estimates and Pricing

Written estimates are provided at no charge and represent our best assessment of the cost based on the information available at the time of the site visit. An estimate is not a guarantee of final price. Final pricing may change if:

• Hidden conditions are discovered once work begins - for example, moisture damage, structural issues, or prior insulation that was not visible during the estimate
• The scope of work changes at the customer's request
• Material costs increase significantly between estimate and job date (more than 30 days)

We will notify you before doing any work that exceeds the original estimate. You have the right to approve or decline additional work before it proceeds.

Scheduling and Cancellation

Jobs are scheduled after a written estimate is accepted. We will confirm a start date with you directly. We ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows that result in a wasted crew visit may be subject to a service call fee, which will be disclosed in your estimate documentation.

We may need to reschedule due to weather, material delays, or prior job complications. We will contact you as soon as a schedule change becomes necessary.

Customer Responsibilities

Before work begins, you agree to:

• Provide safe access to all areas where work will be performed
• Remove or protect personal property in the work area
• Disclose any known hazards, including asbestos, mold, or structural issues
• Ensure the work area meets the conditions described during the estimate

We are not liable for damage to property, delays, or cost increases caused by undisclosed site conditions or failure to prepare the work area.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are stated in your written estimate. In general:

• A deposit may be required before scheduling for larger projects
• Final payment is due upon completion of work unless other terms are agreed in writing
• Accepted payment methods will be specified in your estimate

Unpaid balances past the due date may accrue interest at 1.5% per month. If collection action is necessary, you agree to pay reasonable collection costs including attorney fees.

Warranty

Missoula Insulation warrants its labor and workmanship for one year from the date of project completion, subject to the following conditions:

• The warranty covers defects in installation quality under normal use conditions
• The warranty does not cover damage caused by water intrusion, structural movement, pest activity, or modifications made by others after project completion
• Material warranties, if any, are provided by the manufacturer and pass through to you as allowed by the manufacturer's terms

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Missoula Insulation's total liability for any claim arising from services or use of this website is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind, including lost profits, energy cost projections, or property damage unrelated to our direct workmanship.

Energy savings estimates, if provided, are projections based on typical conditions and are not guarantees of actual results. Actual performance depends on many factors outside our control, including occupant behavior, HVAC maintenance, and weather.

Website Use and Intellectual Property

The content on this website - including text, images, logos, and layout - belongs to Missoula Insulation and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission. You may share links to pages on this website.

This website is provided for informational purposes only. We make reasonable efforts to keep information current but do not warrant that all content is accurate, complete, or error-free.

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises related to our services or these Terms, we ask that you contact us first at estimates@insulationmissoula.com to resolve it informally. Most issues can be addressed quickly with direct communication.

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Missoula, MT, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction. Class action claims are waived.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any legal action not subject to arbitration will be brought exclusively in the courts of Missoula County, Montana.

Modifications to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of this website or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
