Missoula Insulation was founded in 2025 by people who grew up in Missoula and understood exactly what western Montana winters do to an under-insulated home. Cold floors, high heating bills, frozen pipes - these aren't abstract problems here. They're what happens every January in neighborhoods from the University District to the South Hills, in homes that were built before modern insulation standards existed.
Missoula has one of the highest concentrations of older housing stock in Montana. A large share of homes in this valley were built in the 1940s through 1970s, long before energy codes required meaningful insulation in crawl spaces, rim joists, or attic knee walls. We started this company specifically to serve those homeowners - the ones dealing with a problem that was built into the house before they ever moved in.
We work across western Montana, from Missoula and the Bitterroot Valley to Kalispell, Polson, Hamilton, and beyond.
